প্রবাস টাইম ২০১৯ সাল থেকে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের জন্য খবর প্রকাশ করছে। আমাদের সব কাজ নিচের নীতি অনুসরণ করে।

সঠিকতা ও নিরপেক্ষতা

আমাদের প্রধান লক্ষ্য সঠিক, নিরপেক্ষ ও ন্যায্য খবর দ্রুত পাঠকের কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়া। দ্রুততার জন্য সঠিকতার সঙ্গে আমরা আপস করি না।

তথ্য যাচাই

প্রকাশের আগে তথ্য যাচাই করা হয়। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শী, স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা ও কর্তৃপক্ষের দেওয়া তথ্য আমাদের প্রতিনিধিরা মিলিয়ে দেখেন।

সূত্র উল্লেখ

কোনো খবর অন্য সংবাদমাধ্যম, সংবাদ সংস্থা, সরকারি বিজ্ঞপ্তি বা দ্বিতীয় কোনো সূত্রের ওপর ভিত্তি করে হলে খবরেই সেই সূত্রের নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়।

সংশোধন নীতি

সতর্কতার পরেও ভুল হতে পারে। ভুল ধরা পড়লে আমরা দ্রুত তা সংশোধন করি এবং কী ভুল ছিল ও সঠিক তথ্য কী, তা পাঠককে পরিষ্কারভাবে জানাই। বড় সংশোধনের ক্ষেত্রে ওয়েবসাইটে ‘প্রতিবাদ’ প্রকাশ করা হয়। কোনো খবরে ভুল পেলে জানান: [email protected]

নৈতিকতা

আমরা ন্যায্যতা, সঠিকতা ও বস্তুনিষ্ঠতা বজায় রাখি এবং পাঠকের কাছে স্বচ্ছ থাকি। জাতীয় স্বার্থ, মানবাধিকার, আইনের শাসন, লিঙ্গসমতা ও গণমাধ্যমের স্বাধীনতার প্রশ্নে আমরা অটল।

বিজ্ঞাপন ও সংবাদ আলাদা

বিজ্ঞাপন ও প্রচারণামূলক কনটেন্ট সংবাদ থেকে আলাদা করে ‘বিজ্ঞাপন’ হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করা হয়। বিজ্ঞাপনদাতার প্রভাব সংবাদের বিষয়বস্তু নির্ধারণ করে না।

সম্পাদকীয় কাঠামো

সম্পাদক বায়জিদ আল-হাসান সংবাদ, প্রতিবেদন ও সম্পাদকীয় সব বিভাগ তদারকি করেন। তাঁকে সহায়তা করেন প্রধান বার্তা সম্পাদক ও বিভাগীয় দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্তরা।

Editorial Policy (English)

Probash Time has published news for Bangladeshi migrants since 2019. All of our work follows these principles.

Accuracy and impartiality

We deliver the latest news promptly, without compromising on accuracy, objectivity or fairness.

Fact-checking

Information is verified before publication. Our correspondents cross-check details provided by witnesses, locals and authorities.

Sourcing and attribution

When a story is based on another news organisation, news agency, official statement or other secondary source, that source is named in the story.

Corrections

When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and explain clearly what was wrong and what the correct information is. Major corrections are published as a rejoinder. To report an error, email [email protected].

Ethics

We uphold fairness, accuracy and objectivity, and we are transparent with our readers. We stand firm on national interest, human rights, rule of law, gender equality and press freedom.

Advertising and news are separate

Advertising and promotional content is kept separate from news and labelled as advertisement. Advertisers do not influence editorial content.

Editorial structure and ownership

The Editor, Byjed Al Hassan, oversees the news, reporting and editorial departments, supported by the chief news editor and departmental in-charges. Probash Time is owned by Probashi Group Limited.
